Grandma's Shepards 100th Birthday Party


 We all helped at grandma's Birthday party. Adrey played the piano so that we could sing Happy Birthday, Cru picked up dishes and I helped with the food. It was a very fun evening for Grandma. She had around 400 people came to share their love for her on this special day.

Lagoon


Our kids love Lagoon. Thanks to Shae and Lenore we have been able to go the last two years.  We were a little late this year because we left our tickets sitting on the kitchen counter and didn't realize it until we got to Park City.  So we didn't get there right when the gates opened.  We still had a blast and spent all day there and most of the evening.   Because of the new ride we decided to go to the other end of the park and ride all of the other rides first. No lines at all we were just walking on to everything.  However it was a little to much for Adrey's stomach and she didn't feel well for a while. We will have to remember that when we go again.

Cameron's Homecoming from Argentina 

It was a little crazy at the airport this go around.  They didn't have any parking in the parking garage so we all had to go and park in the long term parking and get shuttled into the airport.  I didn't think that we were going to make it.  Nate couldn't come because of work and so there I was trying not to lose any of my kids as we rode the shuttle over with 50 other people. It was a little crazy.
We are so happy to have these great guys home from there missions. They are just as much fun as when they left.

Carter's Birthday

Texas Roadhouse has been a favorite of Carters ever since his pre-school went on a field trip there.  So we weren't surprised that his where he wanted to go to celebrate his Birthday.  He loved to get in the saddle and have everyone wish him a Happy Birthday.
 

Carter got a new scooter.  We have made a rule at our house that they can ride it in the house as long as they want but as soon as it goes outside they can't bring it back in.  This usually lasts a day or two.  It has been over a month and his is still riding it around the house and I am not sure that it will ever make it outdoors.  (not sure if this was a good idea or not, but I guess you learn)

Cabin with the Ryan's 

We made some great friends while we lived in Saratoga Springs.  We try to get together with them a few times a year. We really miss living next to them cause they are a great family.

July 24th

We thought that it would be a good idea if we did a tribute to the firefighters for the parade.  We have had a lot of families that have lost there homes to fires this year. I think that all of the kids had fun.  We love all of the volunteers that help us in the Summit County.

Happy Anniversary


Thirteen years ago Nate and I were married in that Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity.  We were able to go to lunch at one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants.  The kids made a cute little sign to help us celebrate.

Fisher Family 

We hiked to the Kobletts which is a natural springs that is bubbling out of the ground. However it is not a hot springs it is ice cold water.  It was so beautiful after all of the rain that we have gotten this year.  By the time we returned from the hike it started to rain and we stopped at our house for lunch before returning to the cabin.

And of course we got rained out as soon as we were getting the wave runners out to play for the afternoon.  I think that this is the second or third time this has happened to the Fisher family. I guess we are not supost to hang out on that lake.

Since Rob and Pam were in town with Pam's Family we thought that we could all get together for a few days. Day one we were going to go to Seven peaks but we got rained out and ended up at Trafalga fun center.

4th of July

I am so grateful for the freedom of this country.  It is always so much fun to get together and celebrate where we live.  The morning started out at Richards house and then to the parade on Evergreen Avenue.  Rob's family came into town and it was so much fun to see them.

The McEntire family came up to our house for dinner and fireworks that night.
