Summer Projects
Bee's
We got our bees and they have been working hard for the last two months. Nate and I built some top bar hives and I think that they love them. Here are some pictures of Nate in his handsome suit that he has been dieing to wear.
Pigs
We took the kids to pick out there pigs. Adrey was very adamant that she got the smallest pig and she named her Velvet. Cru named his Digger. Carter named his Scorch from Planet 51. Last Ali named her pig Pinky and she is the nicest one of the bunch. We have only had them since the beginning of April and they have grown really fast. They were so cute when they were little. I think that all of the fresh produce has really made them grow quickly. When we got them they were about 25 pounds each and now they are around 220 pounds.
Garden
The pigs did a great job of cleaning out our new garden spot. We were able to get everything planted before we left on our cruise.
Fire pit
Since we were moving our garden we thought that we would replace it with a fire pit area. It has been so much fun. We have had a fire almost every week.
